BarCuts 2025.6

Since my last missive in August, BarCuts received two updates that add some quality-of-life improvements.

ℹ️ ICYMI: BarCuts is my surprisingly useful macOS Shortcuts launcher that surfaces your relevant Shortcuts workflows where and when you need them. Comes with support for Raycast, Alfred, and scripting. Certified handy. Check it out!

The app now supports URI scheme links for running workflows. Each workflow gets its own link that you can copy from the Shortcuts inspector panel and use in other apps – say, your notes – to execute the workflow with a click.

Under the hood, running workflows became more stable, memory leaks were fixed, CPU usage was reduced, the Shortcuts inspector panel became more responsive. The latest version adds diagnostics for troubleshooting and fixes several issues related to macOS 26 Tahoe, including some edge cases where the Raycast extension, Alfred workflow, or CLI tool sometimes wouldn't return tagged workflows without a manual restart.

Browser Actions 2025.2

Browser Actions received a maintenance update with macOS 26 Tahoe compatibility fixes, improved diagnostics reporting, and some under-the-hood improvements. Not much visible change, but necessary nonetheless.
