Zinefests and more
Hello! I’m in a short story collection book club and we’ve been reading Octavia E. Butler’s Bloodchild, which is my first Octavia E. Butler book. I’m enjoying it so much, especially reading it in an environment where I can discuss it with likeminded folks. Highly recommend book clubs as a venue for art discussion.
I’ve also been very busy lately and let this newsletter fall by the wayside, which isn’t great because I do still want this to be a viable alternative to being on instagram. I’m going to try to go back to monthly emails if I can.
Upcoming Events

I’m going to be at the Duval Comic and Zinefest AKA DCAZ on June 6th! Last year was my first DCAZ and it was an incredible experience so I’m really excited to table again! If you’re going, stop by my table and say hi

The day after DCAZ, I’ll be back in Gainesville at 4th Ave Food Park for the Queer Makers Market! These are always a blast and great chance to meet cool people so come check it out!
Published work
I was published in a litmag! manywor(l)ds specializes in medium-breaking, genre-bending work, as evidenced by the very visual piece they published for me: CELEBRATING OBESITY.
You can read/see my work on their website here.
I recommend looking through the entire issue and all the other issues manywor(l)ds has published because they’re putting out fantastic work!

I wrote a short story that was published in Sinister Wisdom Issue 139: Mad Dykes, Queer Worlds and recently published it on its own if you’re not able to snag a copy of Sinister Wisdom.
owl/dyke is a a 4k-word short story about Lune, a lesbian living in an apartment full of ghosts, who decides to become an owl. It's harder than s/he thought.
