New releases and upcoming events
Hello! I made a playlist for myself and some of my friends earlier this week and I’ve been listening to it nonstop. Some favorite songs from it are Jean Grey by AKWAEKE and milk crates by Pigeon Pit. The feeling of getting your friends into tunes you like is one of the best in the world.
Upcoming events
I have two events coming up! On Saturday, April 19th, I’ll be at TREAT on the lawn of Serpentine in Gainesville from 1pm-5pm. In addition to my usual bumper stickers, zines, and collages, I’ll also have a “fold your own minizine” station set up! It’ll have cool colored paper, scissors, and instructions. Here’s the flyer for it:

And on Wednesday April 30th, I’ll be cohosting a found poetry workshop with my friend Tea from 3:30pm-5:30pm for the Covid Conscious Craft Club at The Repurpose Project. It’s a masks-required event, which I’m very excited about. If you’ve ever seen me at a market you know that I wear my mask everywhere I go. COVID gave me a chronic illness I’ll have for the rest of my life and I don’t want to contribute to passing that on to anyone else.
The workshop will be focused on introducing people to found poetry as an art form and making some poems! We’ll make a collaborative poem as a group and then set everyone loose to make their own magnificent works. We’ll also invite anyone who wants to share at the end!
What’s new
Speaking of found poetry, I recently made a poem collage thing that can be found on my website here.

It was made from an email my insurance sent me about “self care”, a scammy car advertisement I got in the mail, and a financial planner that I don’t use. I scanned it and edited it in Affinity Photo.
And yet another new release, I have a new zine! Physical copies will be available at TREAT and on my online shop after April 19th but for now you can get a digital copy of it if you’re so inclined here. It’s called 10 songs to lose your mind to and explores my experiences with psychosis through music. I’m very proud of the making-of process for this zine and might talk more about it on this newsletter in the future!
Website update
I recently switched website hosts for hopefully the last time to a much cheaper option than the 3 (THREE) hosting services I’ve used before. With a little help from a template by Kaylee Rowena, I’ve given my site a slightly new look! It should work perfectly well on mobile now and is much easier for me to edit and customize.
a.c.d works archives
I’ve been working on a new interactive fiction game and it’s reminded me how much I love making interactive fiction so from the a.c.d archives I’m going to pull one of my favorite little IF games I’ve ever made!
THERE IS NO ANSWER by a.c.d is a text-based game that takes about 5-10 minutes to play and explores dissociation as a concept, specifically the ways it affects me as a psychotic person. it’s short and impactful and I’d love it if more people played it!
