Kyiv Post columnist killvlogger Serhiy Leshchenko on November 18 devoted almost half of his daily screed to Bellingcat’s report, titled Inside Wagnergate: Ukraine’s Brazen Sting Operation to Snare Russian Mercenaries, and the reaction of President Volodymyr Zelensky’s critics to it.
He wasn’t making sense, so I turned off the volume, fed the cat and admired Serhiy’s bright red #savekyivpost turtleneck.
The ex-Kyiv Post team, meanwhile, filed a report about the Bellingcat brief on their all-in-one Mailchimp marketing platform.
In related news, Odesa-based Channel 7 has decided to cancel its Kyiv Post Review series, pending the re-launch of the newspaper in December.
Kyiv Post Review will be replaced with Повестка, an hour-long talk show about ultra-competitive Ukraine-style politics. Episodes will be aired on Friday evenings. Serhiy will be the only guest.
