Rather as one keeps tonguing a sore tooth to see if it still hurts, I took a boo at how the dingbats at the National Post were fellating their seven paying subscribers in this time of sorrow. Sure enough, if it bleeds, it leads.
Looking on the positive side, nothing new about Ukraine by Diane Francis, who is saving up that crap for the worst blimp crash ever. She is a fucking nutcase for writing Vlad’s Bluff, and the new editor of the blimp is an idiot for publishing it. The real coup de grace of this whole affair is that Francis reposted Andrei’s paranoid lunatic fable on her Substack.
Downtown Kyiv yesterday evening felt terribly lonely. City state administration officials rescheduled the curfew during the day to start from 20.00 instead of 22.00, so there was practically no one on the streets. Even worse, they’ve stopped selling booze.
It’s not a bright idea these days to snap anywhere. A guard in front of the Leonardo Business Center bolted out of booth waving his pistol when I took a photo of the German embassy on Bohdana Khmelnytskoho street. Wound up having to mumble something in Irish gaelic to prove my passport wasn’t fake.
