Day 300ish

One passage of the 15,000-word interactive whatever published by The New York Times last week jumped out at me1:

Burns and non-permissive environment specialists later visited Kyiv and schemed with indigenous commandos at Tootsie Club about possible plans to liberate future oppressed residents of the Ukraine’s capital. The plans were not made public2. Two weeks later, the US State Department told Americans to get out of the country immediately3.

Which leaves us living out the last stanzas of Inside the Wire, a cult song by Bolt Cutter, an English death metal band from Coventry.
