Day 13

The Dragon, by Evgeny Schwartz. The puppet theatre in Magnitogorsk staged the play in 1979. The same Viktor Shraiman (from Kharkiv) presented The Very Same Munchhausen there in 1988. I was there and impressed. Vaguely recall getting drunk with the troupe after the play.

Which reminds me of this excerpt from a post on February 14, 2022, ten days before the orcs invaded1.

If talks between Ukraine and Russia result in anything, Putin might be able to continue bargaining for a couple more years. But if talks fail, then a zero-sum game begins: either a coup before WWIV, or full-blown WWIV before the coup. Rinse, repeat.

Not much to report this morning. Shoe holding up. Thinking lots about dragons.
