hi! i started this newsletter as a way to update friends when i left for mexico.
part of the original idea was to bring my borrowed point and shoot, with the intention of developing and posting as i went. welllll, there wasn’t anywhere to develop film near me, so that never happened. (btw in six months i shot less than two roles of film. ugh.)
anyway, i finally got my film developed. without further ado, photographic evidence of my six month sojourn in mexicothis might be my fav photo. i wish i would’ve taken more photos of this side of mx. a lot of my fav memories are from night walks/bike rides exploring this is the neighborhood i was primarily staying in. the most gorgeous, infinite skies i’ve ever seen, spread above the mangrove where monkeys and crocodiles live rent free (until further notice. gentrification amirite?)my cousin James and lil buddy Roxy :)Cenotes! - so beautiful and mythologically fascinating.
