When is it enough?
Drawing and painting keep me alive.

It’s been longer than ten days. I felt like writing last Monday, but the week got away from me. I had too many things to organize, and last week seemed pretty chaotic everywhere I looked. I felt a little guilty about not writing when I thought I should. I decided not to let it keep me down.
Usually, I work well under pressure and chaos doesn’t phase me too much. I tend to work on many different canvases at the same time. I paint with watercolor on a series of work while waiting for wax to heat up for another series of work. I intersperse this with preparing panels to paint.
It’s a lot like cooking. I keep at it until it is suddenly enough.
I feel like it helps keep things fresh. If I obsess on a piece of work too much, I usually ruin it or create more work for myself.
Getting a little bit done each day is a good formula for me.
No one knows your work ethic better than you. So keep at it the best way you know how.
Take is easy. :)
Until next time.
