I wanted to send out the monthly Newsletter today, but, you know, life… It will be out in a few days.
Meanwhile, I wanted you to know about the opening of the Toilet Block tomorrow (with BBQ):
Toilet block official opening 3 pm Saturday 17 December 2022
We’re all invited! Stephan Titze, HDC Parks and Property Project Lead | Kaihautū Kaupapa Papa Rēhia, Rawa is organising an opening followed by a BBQ to celebrate this new toilet block. The last block served the community for about 60 years. Let’s hope this new one will serve just as long.
Also: Wendy and Peter Clark have put up their mārama kirihimete - Christmas lights again this year, though I haven't yet had a chance to see them all lit up.
Oh, and since I'm sending this extra Mini News, Waikawa Blueberries is open at the weekends — do yourself a favour and call in for fresh blueberries, wonderful fruity ice cream or even just their award winning olive oil. (Not a paid promotion, just a very happy customer 😀)
