Happy Birthday Wednesdays!
Wednesdays was released a year ago today. And what a year it has been!
Let’s start with the most incredible:
We won The Audience Award at the IGF! The most prestigious indie game festival!
We also won the Indicade Jury Award, two Pégases awards, the Juego con impacto Social at the Latam Indie Awards, the G4C Global Voices Challenge and were nominated at the Indie Game awards!

The “get Wednesdays for free” Day we did on November 20th for World Children’s Day worked waaaaaay beyond our expectation, bringing more than 40 000 new players!
We’re baffled by all the love we received and the amount of players who told us how much of an impact the game had on them.
Commercial considerations aside, Wednesdays has been a resounding success!
So why stop here?
I’m pleased to announce you Wednesdays is now out on iOs and Android!
And in order to reach the widest possible audience (and because nobody buy games on mobile anyway) it is entirely free (and ad-free)!
Players who enjoyed the game will still be able to support us by purchasing the Supporters Edition available as an in-app purchase.
This edition contains an additional scene in which players can ask us, the game developers, (almost) any question they like, in an interactive interview/round table of sorts.

This bonus scene is also available as a free update on PC, so check your updates on Steam or re-download the game on itch to get access to it. You’ll find it in the Chapters section.
As usual, we hope you will pass the word to all your friends, you know, those you already told several times about Wednesdays but still haven’t played the game. Just grab their phone and download the game on it, they don’t have any more excuse!
(Please don’t actually do that)
I’m not sure Wednesdays will get any more updates/news after this one so this might be the last of these newsletters I send. If that’s the case, I bid you farewell and wish you the best. If not: see you next time!
