What’s Happening In Warminster
From The Township Manager
When is the last time you tried a new restaurant? Surprisingly, many of us return to the same favorites over and over and don’t realize what we have here in Warminster township when it comes to the culinary scene. OpenTable lists us as having 56 “casual restaurants”. The now online YellowPages lists the “Top 15 restaurants” to choose day or night.
Tripadvisor reports 1,372 traveler reviews of 96 Warminster restaurants. These include what they characterize as “top restaurants” based upon price, meal type, and overall customer service. You might recognize some of them: Augusto’s, La Voglia, Mike’s York Street Bar & Grill, Eagle Diner and Guiseppi’s Pizza.
If you are looking for budget-friendly sites that are also great for kids you might consider: Rey Azteca, Mission BBQ, Nifty Fifty’s, Tony’s Place Bar & Grill or Namaste Indian Bistro.
Or if you are a take-out or “takeaway” type then you might give these a try: Steak and Hoagie Factory, Arby’s or even Stone Wok Asian Bistro.
You might ask how did Warminster become the cuisine-mecca of Bucks County? It has been reported that “Warminster, Pa. is home to a plethora of restaurants due to its vibrant culinary scene and the diverse tastes of its residents.” According to Census Reporter, Warminster township’s median age is 48.2 with 82 percent Caucasian, four percent Black, three percent Asian and six percent Hispanic. These percentages demonstrate that Warminster township has a diversity score of 61 out of 100, or “more diverse than other US cities,” according to bestneighborhood website which pulled this data from the U.S.Census Bureau.
So, this year after your Thanksgiving turkey settles in – consider trying one of our township’s diverse restaurants to test your palette and let us know what you find!

PECO News
November 2025
Dear Customer,
We are contacting you about an upcoming project occurring in Warminster Township that will enhance the local electric distribution system. This project is a $180,000 infrastructure investment in your area to help withstand more frequent and damaging storms, improve reliability by reducing the frequency of outages that cannot be prevented, and support the adoption of cleaner energy resources such as solar and electric vehicles.
What you’ll see during this project:
A machine will be used to install new conduit as well as new underground electrical cable throughout your neighborhood.
Any impacted portions of yards or streets will be restored to prior condition.
New equipment, including pad-mount transformers could be installed or replaced as necessary.
These devices are necessary to improve reliability throughout neighborhoods and require several feet of clearance to allow for future maintenance.
Work will occur along Deerfield Rd, Orchid Rd and Dick Ave.
Construction is now scheduled to begin on 11/24/2025 with an estimated completion date of 1/30/2026.
Work will be performed by PECO crews and qualified PECO contractors.
We have developed a plan to minimize direct customer impact as much as possible and to complete the project in a safe and timely manner.
Crews may need to temporarily interrupt service to safely complete some of this work. We will work with local residents to ensure they are informed in advance of our activities and any planned interruptions. To ensure you receive all outage updates, please confirm that your phone number is accurate in our system through MyAccount at peco.com/myaccount or by calling PECO at 1-800-494-4000.

If you have any questions regarding the details of this project and how it may impact you, please contact Gary Dollahon, Customer Liaison, at Gary.Dollahon@exeloncorp.com.
