Riverfront Project: Esplanade development launches in Chateau neighborhood.

Construction has begun on the Esplanade, a mixed-use riverfront development in Chateau. The project will feature apartments (20% affordable), restaurants, retail, a public plaza with Ferris wheel, and an amphitheater. Completion is expected by 2028.

WWII Identification: Pittsburgh airman confirmed after 82 years.

Sgt. Sidney Burke, killed in a 1943 bombing raid over Burma, has been positively identified through DNA testing after 80 years. Burke was buried with full military honors in Bridgeville, and his name will be honored at the Manila American Cemetery.
