Guess what. We’ve signed a lease! Val’s Lesbian Bar now has a location: 605 South 3rd Street (formerly the Reef Lounge). If you’ve signed up from the Instagram you already know this, but we’re still so excited we gotta say it again so we know it’s real. The space is GORGEOUS and we’re hard at work making it extra beautiful for you all (progress pics coming next newsletter).
But you signed on to the newsletter for the exclusive stuff, so here’s something only real ones on the newsletter (you) get to know in advance: We’re throwing our FIRST EVENT Saturday, February 14, and tickets are live RIGHT NOW.

The flyer and tickets go live everywhere else tomorrow (Sunday) at 5pm, so secure your tickets now before they sell out!!
Expect eclectic, groovy sounds, big bass, and probably some wub-wubs. We’ll also be debuting a mini version of our opening drinks menu, and we’re sooo excited to share the cocktails and mocktails with you that we’ve been testing the last few months. Plus, we’ll have experienced professionals on hand offering bootblacking, spanking, and rope demos. Expect to get hot.

Remember to bring cash to tip our trained BDSM pracitioners, and to enter the wet t-shirt contest!! Contest proceeds with be going to Ark of Safety, which is currently running a shelter for trans and queer people in North Philly.
Please keep in mind: This is not the grand opening! We will be throwing this party, closing back down, and re-opening permanently in the spring. If you try to go to Val’s Sunday, February 15th at 4pm, it will not work because we will not be open. Thank you for your candor.
