The Sixth Sense
Do you remember the first time you rode a bike? How it felt easier the more you practiced, eventually it became an afterthought.
This is called proprioception, it’s the body's ability to sense its position and movement. This "sixth sense" evolved to help our ancestors navigate complex terrains, hunt with precision, and perform intricate tasks necessary for survival.
It is through practice and repetitive actions that our coordination of essential movements become ingrained. This is why pro athletes and their movements seem so effortless because to them it is. Their bodies have been exposed to the same movement over and over again, they have no choice but to adopt.
So in a nutshell, if you want a body that is strong, lean, and powerful. Expose yourself to stress it is the only way that the body will consider adapting and making the intolerable tolerable.
