The Swamp goes to...Panama

It looks like Panama is going down the same path as Sri Lanka, let’s try and figure out why.
The situation in Panama has worsened since this article ‘Panamanians Protest Against President Cortizo’ was published on July 1st, but I wanted to reference this one on account of some of the statements it makes, for example:
"We can't expect anything from them (President & VP). They will continue stealing and passing laws against the people," said Saul Mendez, a construction worker.’…sound familiar?
and…
‘Over the last year, the Cortizo administration has been involved in several corruption scandals, one of which has to do with irregular purchases of COVID-19 related medical supplies.’…sound familiar?
It might be totally unrelated but last year these two bought a COVID Testing Company…just sayin’.
Then there’s…
‘The Front for the Defense of Economic and Social Rights (FRENADESO) led the mobilization.’
Sounds like another Soros rentamob I thought, but no it isn’t, it does know all about Soros though, as this article details (not English so translated in full bellow).
‘George Soros, his foundations and groups in Panama.’
Penetration of the groups supported by Soros in the local media.
Training of youth figures, deputies and former pseudo-independent candidates.
They maintain a presence on social networks with accounts such as “Claramente” and “Foco”.
Soros also owns polling companies with which he manipulates public opinion.
Who is George Soros?
by FRENADESO
George Soros is recognized as a mega speculator, an American of Hungarian origin. His fortune has been created by producing financial crises. He founded the Open Society Foundations, the second of its kind in the world, after that of Bill Gates. He advocates for an open society, based on the theories of the anti-Marxist Austrian philosopher, Karl Pooper, of whom he was his disciple. It supports the thesis of a global world controlled by a "State of Law", that is, saving capitalism from its current crisis that threatens the existence of humanity, including the same privileged capitalists and their model of wealth accumulation, replacing it with controlled capitalism. That is why he says he is opposed to fundamentalist neoliberalism and extreme nationalism.
Soros is backed by other ultra-millionaires, bourgeois technocrats, groups that have been advocating a new international order (for example, the Trilateral) and figures such as the Nobel Prize winner in Economics, John Stiglitz, the same one who resigned from the Commission of the who was part of and armed the Varela government to face the revelations of the Panama Papers (in which Soros was also involved, according to WikiLeaks) and to please the OECD. Stiglitz's wife, Anya Schiffrin, works for the Soros Foundation on communications. They have announced education programs for young women and youth in different parts of the world. Soros is a permanent member of the Bilderberg Club founded by David Rockefeller.
** Heterogenize the struggles**
Soros promotes a new anti-party right and seeks to fragment the struggles of society (women, environmentalists, LGTB, youth, migrants, abortion, decriminalization of drugs, etc., axes of his interest). That is, divide or heterogenize popular struggles. Give it its own discourse and identity so that, instead of promoting the unity of the popular sectors, divide them and keep them in permanent conflicts with each other, declasse them. Many do not even realize who is behind it.
Based on the axes that he works on and that constituted and constitute flags of the left, many of the movements financed by Soros are confused as projects of the left or of the so-called progressivism. Thus, he not only seeks to configure what the new right is, but also intends to mold a new "left" for the system.
** Soros his foundations and groups in Panama**
Here Soros, together with USAID, the Ford Foundation, the Roosevelt Foundation, and others, supports groups of the so-called civil society, La Prensa and his Foundation for the Development of Citizen Liberty (Chapter of International Transparency) in which the Eisenmanns are, Motta, González Revilla, Arias and other members of the millionaires' club, foundations and NGOs that gravitate around it, study and research centers, youth groups especially in private universities, groups such as MOVIN, Ricardo Lombana's and figures and deputies pseudo independent. He is also present on social networks with accounts such as "Claramente" and "Foco".
Soros sees in the chaos an opportunity to do business. His money has helped foment destabilization in many parts of the world and has financed CIA operations.
** “Soros La Prensa Corporation”**
In the VarelaLeaks, Fernando Berguido, former director and former President of La Prensa, referred to it as the “Corporación Soros La Prensa”. And it is that the penetration of the groups supported by Soros is evident in the local media with radio and television programs and spaces and columns in the newspapers. The young figures who train, deputies and former pseudo-independent candidates are permanent guests. Annette Planells from MOVIN, for example, is interviewed every day. They maintain a presence on social networks with accounts such as “Claramente” and “Foco”. Soros also owns polling companies with which he manipulates public opinion. His foundation has more than 20 billion dollars for all this.
Some Democratic Party candidates have Soros among their top "donors." I support Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. He has just sold his shares in Netflix, Facebook and Twitter, projects conceived within his strategy of global ideological control. He recently bought stock in the New York Times. We will have to wait for his future movements.’
I haven’t found any links between the President, VP, and Soros so we’ll have to see how things pan out. Maybe regime change is already done and they’re moving to the next phase, or maybe regime change is yet to be done…as USAID is there too, it will be one or the other.
One to watch…
