This newsletter is possessed!

Hey peach,

How’s it going? Have you been enjoying the final run-up to Halloween? Been chugging Pumpkin Spiced lattes and watching scary movies? Good for you, boo 👻

I’ve mostly been working on my occult music and arts zine, which goes on sale in two days. TWO DAYS! Can you believe it? I’m bricking myself.

Because of the intense circumstances, I’ve decided to possess The Copy Coven with the spirit of my earwyrm zine. No spells, tasks, or exercises this month! Just the bare necessities while I get in gear for launch.

I promise I’ll have my shit together next month. Mostly.

🌝 Mourning Moon – 5th November

Divination · Fresh starts · Shedding all that does not serve

🔮 Freelance focus: strategy & planning with Seven of Swords

top down photo of the Seven of Swords tarot card on a vintage leather-topped desk. The card shows a man sneaking away from a military camp, carrying five swords and looking back longingly at the remaining two.

The Seven of Swords isn’t usually a very welcome card in a tarot reading. Its primary meaning is closely linked with treachery, as depicted by our man, who’s shown nicking swords from a military camp. However, when we look at it in the context of what you fine folk should focus on in November, it’s much more likely to indicate a need for strategic thinking and planning.

This card invites you to look at your current situation and strategise how to improve things with a bit of cunning. What resources do you need to claim to get where you want to be? How can you equip yourself, mentally and physically, for the task ahead?

You’re being called to outsmart the problem. But hey — if you wanna go on the rob, who am I to stop ya?

Other shit you might like

Well…obviously it’s this, innit?!

A grey and white marbled paper background with the front page of the earwyrm zine in prime position. Behind it are four pages pulled out to showcase some folk horror linocut artwork, a playlist, and two interviews.

This sucker is going to be an A5 printed zine (with the option of a digital download if you’d rather), absolutely jammed with interviews, art, and DIY shit, made with my own fair hands.

Print copies are limited, so sign up to the newsletter to be notified and get yours before they disappear into the ether!

Merry meet and merry part,

Cowners
