Take a thought shower ๐ง๏ธ
Salutations, peach!
How's it going?
I don't want to scare you* but this month's newsletter involves you getting naked.
Yep, you read that correctly.
Before you get your lawyer on the phone, here's some much-needed context...
November's seasonal stormy weather makes it an excellent month for water energy. It's a time to shed what you don't need so you can make room for more important things.
So, we're heading to the bath/shower. A place where I โ and many of my creative contemporaries โ find our inspiration.
It's almost as though steeping yourself in hot water loosens the good ideas so they can ooze out through your pores. Gross, eh?
So, if you're facing a block and have time to get naked and bathe, you'll want to consult this incredibly helpful index of aromas.
*Okay, maybe I do. But only a little ๐

๐ Herbal index: thought showers ๐
I've gone through the correspondences in my Llewellyn's Witches' Calendar to bring you all my top picks for oils and herbs around thinking, ideas, and success. Pick a herb or make a blend of several!
Meditation โ Jasmine, myrrh, nutmeg
Mental powers โ Rosemary
Prosperity โ Cinnamon, bergamot, sage
Success โ Clove, eucalyptus, geranium, ginger, frankincense
Visions โ Bay, nutmeg, lemongrass
Wisdom โ Lavender, peppermint, lemongrass
Showering
Tie your herbs in a muslin cloth and hang it from the shower head. You could also add essential oils to a plain liquid soap, like Dr Bronner's Castile Soap.
Bathing
Mix essential oils or dry herbs into unscented Epsom salts. You could also tie them up in a muslin cloth with some rolled oats to make a bath tea bag or add them to a plain bath oil.
I like to add mine to a bowl of oat milk mixed with honey and rose water. That's right โ oat milk. I said what I said.
Happy bathing!

๐ฎ Freelance focus: fresh starts with The Fool
You've been presented with a blank page and a fresh start. So...what are you going to do with it, babe? The Fool is the first card in the tarot deck and signifies the beginning of a journey into the unknown.
This could be your sign to start something new, to take a leap of faith, or to be brave enough to begin the journey...even if you know the road will be filled with hidden challenges.
The main lesson here is that you never really know what lies ahead (even with the tarot at hand!), so don't let uncertainty stop you from making the journey. Whether you complete your quest or not, you'll learn a hell of a lot along the way!
