Let's drink the sun ๐๐ป
Hey peach, how're things?
Weather hot enough for ya? Personally, I'm sweating in places I didn't even know I could. Instead of being annoyed with the sun's rays, we could use them to boost creativity...by drinking them.
Yeah, I said what I said.
This month, we're going to make sun water.
WTF is 'sun water'?
Sun water is water that has been left to absorb the sun's energy. Ancient Indians used sun-charged water for its Ayurvedic medicinal health benefits. My fellow witchy folk and I use it to boost creativity, invite positive energy, and build personal power.
You can use your sun water in loads of ways โ drink it, add it to your bath, and anoint your crystals, pens, notebooks, or even your desk.
Here's how to get started...
Tools
1) Distilled water or spring water
2) Sterilised jar
3) Paper with your intention written on it (optional)
Method
1) Choose your 'flavour'
What kind of solar power are you wanting, friend? Sunrise sunbeams are thought to hold energy for manifestation, fresh starts, and wealth. Midday sunbeams are great for creativity, courage, and power, and sunsets are excellent for cleansing.
If you want to get suuuper fancy, you can check the sun's astrological placement to infuse your water with specific energy โ the sun in Virgo will help you channel Virgo's characteristics, for example.
2) Pour your water and let it stand
Fill your sterilised jar with water and pop it in the sun for at least one hour. If you've chosen to write your intention on paper, you can slip it under your jar. You could also add a water-safe crystal into the mix if you're not planning to drink your water.
3) Serve and enjoy!
When you feel your water is charged, take it out of the sun and use it to your heart's content. If you're planning to drink your sun water (hello, refreshing creativity-boosting bevvy), you might like to add some herbs or flowers for added deliciousness and magick.

๐ฎ Freelance focus: change with The Wheel of Fortune
How good are you with change? The Wheel of Fortune signifies change on the horizon โ good or bad โ and challenges you to prepare for its arrival.
This is a pretty good card for freelancers because our businesses are constantly in flux. If things are quiet for you right now, know that business can (and will!) pick up. If things are hectic, there's sure to be a quiet lull in your future.
The main takeaway is optimism and confidence. Sure, things may change, but you have the smarts to deal with anything. Besides, different doesn't always mean bad. Embrace the coming change, mate! You'll be fine โ๏ธ
