Rest and recharge with the light of midsummer
Friday 19 – Sunday 21 June
Summer Solstice
Two nights (£155)
Facilitated by Lauren Mason and Liz Kalaugher

Women only
The solstice is a time of long days and short nights. Join us in beautiful Somerset woodland for a weekend of stillness, meditation and nature connection practices. We’ll tune into the light and warmth of the solstice, seek out and open to pleasant sensations, and recharge for the season ahead. Optional prose and poetry writing workshops will be offered, to deepen our connection to ourselves and our surroundings. No previous writing or meditation experience needed.

Memoir course
I’m reaching out because I’m running a small, in-person memoir writing course with award-winning memoirist, Lily Dunn, and I thought it might resonate with the Bristol Writing Collective.
Across five weeks, we’ll explore memory, voice, time and the ethics of writing about others, with a balance of discussion, practical prompts, and space to share work.
It’s designed as a small, focused group where writers can spend time developing their work, alongside others who are equally committed. It's also in person, so I feel that it's a lovely opportunity to do this work together.
It will take place over five Sunday mornings at The Square Club. You can read more about the course here
There are a few places left, and I’d love to offer your mailing list 20% off, bringing the full course to £148 instead of £185 and making it less than £30 per session. They can use the code MEMOIR20
