Thurs @ Watershed, 1 Canon’s Road
Afternoons: Work 2.30 - 5.30, chat after
Tues and Weds @ The Canteen, 80 Stokes Croft
Evenings: Work 7.00 - 10.00, chat after
Mon ONLY @ The All Inn, 1 Staple Hill Rd

Some BWC folks are trialling a new group for this on Mondays at the Watershed, 7pm. There’s a three week trial period to get a sense of interest/availability - this is week 2 - so do get along if you’d like to be involved! Bring some work to read, or just listen and join in the discussion.

TV writing workshop
A bit about me: After 15+ years working in television development and production, I now run a consultancy called Strong Story, where I help aspiring writers craft engaging narratives for the screen. My passion is helping writers find their voice and sharpen their storytelling skills.
On September 28th, I’ll be hosting a “Be a TV Writer for a Day” workshop in Bristol. The workshop is designed for anyone keen on exploring TV writing, whether they’re new to the craft or looking to develop a different set of storytelling skills. It’s a fun, hands-on session where participants will learn the core skills of writing for television while meeting fellow creatives.
