The Bi Pod Bulletin November: We want to hear from you!
The Bi Pod Bulletin Returns!
We’re back! Thank you for your patience. Normally this newsletter returns to your inbox during the last week of the month when a new season of the show begins, but I (Christina) was in Ireland at the end of September, and then I was sick with vertigo at the end of October, so here we are in November.
We are collecting listener letters for a mailbag episode! Send us your thoughts on a recent episode, your queer stories, and any questions you’d like us to answer. You can DM us on Instagram @thebipod, or email us at thisisthebipod@gmail.com. Historically, our newsletter subscribers have really come through for our mailbag episodes, and we love to hear from you.
The Podcast
So far this season, we’ve talked about Heartstopper Season 2, revisited our “How to Be a Person” episode, and talked to authors Roxy Manning (clinical psychologist) and Sara Peyton (neuroscience educator) about anti-racist conversations, self-empathy, and the pursuit of Beloved Community.
In today’s episode, we offer some queer comfort content recommendations. If you’re looking for a new book, tv show, podcast, or album, we’ve got you covered.
We also talk briefly about Queering the Map, and the messages queer Palestinians have anonymously shared there. Please contact your representatives to demand deescalation, and seek opportunities to support the folks in your community who are closely or directly impacted by the violence. Our liberation is inherently connected.
