The OPIA Collection Early Access shop is open!

To say hahom (thank you) for being here, I’ve made the Opia Aná’no Mini Print free for newsletter subscribers this week. It’s already 100% discounted, all you have to do is add it to your cart!* I’ve also included a pdf of sketches and color studies taken from my sketchbook during the process of creating the OPIA Collection.

The Early Access page is available to subscribers through Nov 24th. After that, I’ll move all the products into my main shop where the collection will be available to the public through Dec 6th.

(*My shop is currently only available to folks in the US and territories due to international shipping and taxes being something I can’t manage currently. But if you are outside of the US and know me personally, contact me and we’ll talk!)

About the OPIA Collection

The OPIA Collection is an exploration of ancestors living their daily lives in parallel to ours- caring for each other and for us, tending to altars with us, cooking their favorite foods, watching birds, becoming birds, providing for us, being the land and the elements that they tended and belong to and are.

All of the opia’no (ancestor spirits) in this collection are based on my actual ancestors or relatives, including Oliva (circled below). Oliva was born here in Utuado where I live. I haven’t discovered where she is buried or memorialized yet, but her brother is buried across the street from my house.

This collection isn’t just to honor my own ancestors and the land I live on; I hope it allows you to playfully imagine what your own ancestors are doing in their daily lives and meaningfully engage in their memories and presence.

I’ve included a few bundles in the collection which are great for gifting- either as a whole or breaking up the bundle and gifting the items individually.

Also, the items in my main shop are still available as well, and you can purchase from the Early Access shop and the main shop both in the same transaction.

If you have any issues or see any errors, please let me know asap so I can fix them!

Hahõbaná!
