Whichever way you look at Dolly Parton’s life there is a remarkable story to discuss. Her upbringing which seemed so full of love, despite her parents struggles. Her incredible song-writing talent. Her unique style and her seeming indifference to criticism of her style. Her business acumen and her philanthropy. Her quick-wit and kindness to others, the love for her family and her desire that others not experience the difficulties that she and her father experienced. She spent her money well. A life incredibly well lived.
