My First Dream About Pan
Learning to Fly
I met Pan in my dreams for the first time about 6 months ago. He was tall with green eyes and long curly brown hair. He felt to me like the Peter Pan version of Pan.
In my dreams, directions, geometries, and symbols are important. It is not always so obvious to me when I wake up what it all means, so I keep a journal by my bed.
In this particular dream, Pan walked from the South traveling North to meet me. If I had to make a guess, we were standing around the area of my third eye.
I looked over to the Northwest (around the 10:00 position) and saw a beautiful woman with blond hair the color of the sun. She walked over to us, picked me up over her head and told me to fly. She felt like the energy of Goddess Venus.
I felt so free and began to cry.
“Just Believe” Pan said to me. I woke up with tears in my eyes.
Sometimes I use tarot cards to help sort out the meaning and symbolism of my dreams.
In this case, I used a 44-card deck called “Native Spirit” by Denise Linn.
Here was the response:
Card 1: Vision Quest (I am on my sacred journey)
Card 2: Sacred Mountain (Sun Woman or Goddess Venus). In stillness, I find peace, inner power, and the seat of my soul. (As she lifts me up, I unfurl my wings to fly).
Card 3: Spirit Keeper of the South (Pan). Abundance, vitality, childhood, warmth of the noon day sun (admittedly, these last 5 years have been rough, so I am grateful to Pan for his vitality and warmth).
I have been doing kundalini yoga and meditations, so perhaps Pan and Goddess Venus were helping to push things along in my dreams (time to get that electricity and soul power flowing!).
I used the discussion card that comes with the 12 Solar Deity Crystals from Patricia Cota-Robles to help unpack more details about the dream (According to Patricia, these energies represent the 12 solar deities which are 5th dimensional energies we can now integrate into our Earth lives). I have also heard Patricia refer to these energies as Mother Mary’s Circle of the Sacred 12. I feel these energies align with the 12 Universal Laws.
The Two Solar Deities that may be relevant to help interpret this dream:
6. (6:00 position) Ruby Gold-Divine Grace and Devotion (Pan as he comes up from the South to clean up my old energies and unlock my vital power along my spine and chakra points)
10. (10:00 position) Gold-Eternal Peace and Abundance (Sun Woman or Goddess Venus as she lifts me over her head to fly, reconnecting me to my soul power)
