Testing, Testing
Introduction to my new newsletter and call for questions.
This will be my space to talk about my games, especially fun bits and pieces of my next big game that's in development. If you need a refresher, I've made a few narrative games, most notably com__et: a queer romance/horror VN you can find on Steam and itch.io
(as a general rule, rating/review games massively helps their visibility. Just a hint to help out any small creator with the algorithms 👀)
Some of these posts will be about my existing work. I can talk about things like how to add dynamic audio to ren'py. Next month will be the year anniversary of releasing com__et to Steam so I plan to write up a bit about my experience with that.
You can reply to this if you want to email me and ask anything about com__et! Ask me about other games too, I love to procrastinate by answering emails. And I've learned far too much about making games to keep it all to myself.
With this newsletter I'll also be discussing my next game currently in development:
This is AILISH, you'll
learn all about her. 🙂
Ravel the Frays a sci fi mystery dialogue puzzle game.
I've even gotten a little prototype funding for it from a local Irish fund. I'm excited for more details to become public as we have more visuals ready. I'll be doing lots of playtesting too. If you’re keen, email me back and I could show you a build. I need to gather feedback as I figure out how the hell to puzzle design.
That's all for now, but thank you for subscribing and following me along this weird path!
Someone else's work I recommend: ODDADA
A musical toy with little explanation that just lets you poke around and explore to learn how the various tools work. It's delightfully cute but also turns out good tunes.
Play com__et!
If you already did, review it on Steam!
If you already did that, thank you.🥺
