March 5- Primary Election Day

In the NC Primary Election 12,852 of 44,413 registered voters (28.9%) casted a ballot in Stanly County.

The Democratic Party Ballot results were Joseph Biden, Jr/U.S. President (1308 votes/83.58%), Josh Stein/NC Governor (868/55.53%), Rachel Hunt/NC Lt. Governor (986/63.61%), Jeff Jackson/NC Attorney General (740/48.40%), Natasha Marcus/NC Commissioner of Insurance (936/62.69%), Maurice (Mo) Green/NC Superintendent of Public Instruction (710/47.43%), Wesley Harris/NC Treasurer (1,036/69.16%), and Allison Riggs/NC Supreme Court Associate Justice Seat 06 (1,032. 69.08%).
