Note that there are no elections in Stanly County in 2023 – we are 1 of only a handful of NC counties that have no elections in the off years.
Annual Meetings
The Stanly Democratic Party will hold its County Convention Saturday, April 22, at 2:00 PM at the big shelter at the New London Memorial Park. Our main agenda item will be electing party officers for 2023-2025 terms.
Precinct business meetings are to be held between Saturday Feb. 25th – March 11. Any precincts wanting to officially organize, please contact Kevin Taylor for more information.
The Congressional District Convention will be Saturday, May 20th. Details will be forthcoming.
