Congratulations to our Spotlight Contest Winner!

A bench with a wooden seat and a back shaped like a butterfly sits in a shady spot under a tree.

Congratulations to Robert Thompson, the winner of our 2026 Spotlight Contest! He built this butterfly bench for his wife out of 5/8" square tubing and 3/8” round bar. He says:

“Tubing was hand formed and round bar scrolls were forged, and all mig welded together.”

Congratulations, Robert! And thank you to everyone who entered our contest. Even if you didn’t win, be on the lookout for your projects to be featured in future newsletters!

WHAT YOU’RE SAYING

“I like that fact that I can buy smaller units of sheet metal from you which are easy to handle for the small projects. Packaging was great. I'm still using the packing to keep all my metal safe! All in all, I've had a great experience!”

An automotive part manufactured with RidgeAlloy

Currently, the aluminum from vehicle body panels can’t be reused in critical automotive components due to impurities which make its composition unpredictable.
