TESTIMONIALS

WHAT YOU'RE SAYING... "I will definitely recommend your firm to anyone I run into seeking a source for metals. My order was small and custom. Yet you folks had it on its way to me within just a few hours. Nothing says more to me than how a company responds to the smallest orders, especially custom cut orders. I wish you the very best this and every year and thank you for your terrific customer service."

        -Kent

DID YOU KNOW?

DID YOU KNOW...? ...that scientists might have turned hydrogen into a metal?

A device with two diamonds used to create high pressure.

In the 1930s, scientists theorized that if sufficient pressure were applied, hydrogen could be transformed into a metal. If it could be acheived, scientists predict that it would be a superconductor at room temperature, which could revolutionize the manufacturing of electronics (since current superconductors either require extremely low temperatures or extremely high pressures to work).

Using two diamonds etched with a doughnut shape, scientists increased the pressure on the hydrogen, until suddenly, at a pressure more than 4 million times that of Earth's atmosphere, the hydrogen became opaque, indicating that it might have become a metal.
