Welcome to the final Simuka Africa Briefing for Q2 Volunteer Staff! On behalf of our Simuka Africa Family, we thank you for your patience and contributions during this challenging geopolitical current. The rest of June will consist of offboarding Q2 Staff and onboarding volunteers for Q3 Service.

The following information addresses the End-of-Assignment transition:
If you joined us for Q2 through the UNV.org: 1) Provide feedback on your assignment with us. 2) Be sure to complete the Essential & Mandatory Courses on the UNV E-campus by July 1. 3) Make sure these Certificates are visible in your documents library.
The final Q2 Creative Career Focus Meeting is on June 13th, which will discuss Q3 Volunteer Service and UN Volunteers Platform Registration. Register for it here. After creating an account, click on “Organizations,” then “34 Gallery” to see our meeting list.
Be advised that we are unable to submit a report to UNV or provide recommendation letters if you have not submitted assignments this quarter or contacted us regarding your situation if you have been absent.

This week, we received a cybersecurity analysis that both Drive and Gmail are no longer viable due to two hacking attempts. Although these attempts were unsuccessful, email us directly with all submissions moving forward: submissions@34gallery.org
It takes very little to help save a life. Some of the artists we feature on social media are in mental health crisis. One artist is by the bedside of a terminally ill relative. We also have two artists with a terminal health diagnosis. They need support. If you have connectivity, like the posts.

Include additional global conference information so you can network in-person & virtually to navigate this new career landscape.
Increase our search for free educational opportunities for our volunteer teams to provide an edge in the hiring process.
Provide updated A.I. industry information to accelerate your learning curve and explore new opportunities.
List introductions to types of self-care that maximize your productivity, address burnout, and help adjust your schedule to your specific needs.
