Excitingly…

ShortCode is now in Beta. By now you should have gotten an email with all the details. It was sent earlier in the week from beta@shortcode.app – if you don’t see it in your inbox please check your spam folder.

A quick recap of the week so far. Invites were sent out, downloads happened and feedback is starting to roll in. It’s great to be able to finally get this into the hands of users even if it needs plenty of work.

The No1. piece of feedback was to be able to customize the snippet trigger prefix (currently set to $). This is being worked on and an update should be released in the coming days. Since this is quite a significant change to the codebase some things might break or your current snippets might fail. But hopefully I can get it out the door with as little friction as possible.

Discord Channel

A few people have jumped into the Discord channel (which is the preferred method of posting feedback). You may have tried to get in earlier in the week and found the channel was blocked - that was my bad, I had the security settings dialled wayyyyyyy too high.
