Welcome to Sex & Death

As an abortion companion, I live at the intersection of sex and death. These subjects are deeply embedded in our culture, but by their very nature, it’s difficult for us to acknowledge this. Why is that?

How do we address these elephants in every room? What would it mean to embrace, rather than hide, sex and death?

What do we lose when we give in to the fear of sex and death? And what do we stand to gain by understanding them better?

Here you’ll find my musings on these questions, how they intersect with each other and with other taboos. We’ll talk feminism, kink, death-positivity, history, and even pop culture. I’ll write about my experiences as an abortion companion in hopes of demystifying this process. Curious? Who wouldn’t be?
