Restless 39 - Recent Posts and Glass Print Exchange

Hello.
Below are some, but not all, of my recent posts. I’m trying to post more this year. I want my website to be more of a journal than anything else so posting more makes sense, although I can’t believe it’s March already.
There was a lot of time to think while my daughter was in the hospital, and one thing that really hit home was that I could die with all my photos on a hard drive and nowhere else. What a waste that would be!
Obviously, the majority of people out there couldn’t care less about my photos, which is fine. I have no desire to leave a legacy (apart from a socially productive, good human in my daughter), but it would be nice to have more prints in more hands.
A few weeks ago, I did a print exchange with a Glass member, and which snowballed into more. I now have prints from members from across the world - Germany, the USA, Finland, Japan, and soon to be Italy. If anybody on Glass or elsewhere would like to do a print exchange, get in touch. My feed is here.
Let’s not have all our photos hidden forever on a hard drive that nobody ever opens, eh?
Sean.

I walk a 5km stretch of the Shonai River a few times a week, and lately, I’ve been spotting a group of junior high school boys out there. It makes me genuinely happy to see them.

There’s a particular kind of photography I’ve always been drawn to but never quite had the words for — until I started watching Mark Power’s Magnum course, Picturing Place.
