Hi, everyone. A quick update:

The next chapter of Perfect Manhattan will be available next week. I’m grateful to have had some unexpected, last-minute projects thrown at me the past couple of weeks, though they unfortunately took time away from fleshing out more of this story. This might happen on occasion, but I am committed to staying on some sort of regular schedule (shakes fist)! 

Thanks to everyone who has supported this endeavor so far! Your support and kind words mean a lot. This has been a big step for me. 

I’ve enjoyed spending time with these characters again. For anyone who needs a refresher, you can read a synopsis here. The narrative takes place in early 2007, nearly 20 years ago, but so much has happened in our lives since then, even from a technology standpoint alone! 

In my latest chapter, the characters visit a new (fictional) cocktail bar in the East Village. What they order, why they order it, what they do when the drinks arrive… remember, no one had a smart phone, though the mass commercialization was getting close and change was in the air. Our routines have shifted in significant ways as a result of new technologies and perceived expectations.
