Hello, Schustack reader!

For the first time in many years, it somehow worked out that all my various duties were completed by mid December. Because it rarely happens, this wee respite kind of caught me by surprise, so I didn’t plan anything—no last minute adventures catapulted by strategic travel miles accounting, not even much of a New York City staycation.

I realized I was tired. I mean, really knackered.
