In 2022, I had the honor of being one of the participants of “Dive Bar Jukebox”, an exclusive ongoing series started by my friend and Brooklyn neighbor, Brad Thomas Parsons, for his Last Call Substack (which I highly recommend subscribing to) for which he asks people from hospitality and media industries to list and discuss songs they would program in a dive bar if they had 10-12 credits. Then last Christmas, I was bestowed the even bigger honor of coming up with the coveted Christmas song spot, showcasing tracks from a playlist I have been growing over the years online for nearly a decade. 

When I asked people whether I should start my own newsletter, a few said, “You’re going to do something for it with music, right?” 

Yeah. I had to figure out how that was going to work. I don’t want to step on Brad’s toes.
