I tend to think of early September and the promise of autumn as a harbinger for change. However, sticky old July is going out with a lot of newness.

I started writing this post in the early morning as an uncharacteristically cool breeze came through the window. We can never be certain how long such a refreshing break in the schvitz is going to last, but I will accept this rare gift of airiness for as long as it can stick around. Could only be a few more hours, who knows this time of year? 

By the way, it’s now been four months since I started Schustack! Thank you to everyone who has followed and subscribed so far (tell your friends)! I resisted this format for a long time because it just seemed like so much work. And it is. But now I’m grateful for this platform. I hope you are too.
