Schustack is two months old today! Many thanks to all my subscribers and the people who have interacted with me via this platform so far. I’m excited to nourish and watch this little seedling grow, and couldn’t do it without all of you (and, hey, the people you tell about it)!

On the cocktail bent, I want to fill you in on the BlackTail popup that’s happening at Back Bar in the Kimpton Eventi Hotel. The space behind the hotel’s main lobby bar area has been hosting one-night-only bar takeovers by the likes of Dale DeGroff, and also limited run popups, such as this past spring’s residency with Moe Aljaff and Juliette Larrouy of Barcelona’s Schmuck, who were test running some of their new creations for their forthcoming brick and mortar bar space in New York City set to open later this year.
