A merry Christmas to you!
Thanks for subscribing to the Bible Reading 2021 email!
We wish you a wonderful Christmas! We look forward to a regular reading of God's word with you in 2021!
I'll be following the M'Cheyne reading schedule, specifically the last two readings of each day. I'll send that schedule along in an upcoming email.
There are various ways of using this schedule. If you do all four readings in a day you will read all of the NT and Psalms twice, and the OT once in 2021. If you do the schedule in two years -- year one, first two readings of each day, and year two the second two readings, then you read all of the NT and Psalms each year and one-half of the OT (first year: Genesis through 2 Chronicles; second year: Ezra to Malachi). The two-year reading pace means you read about two chapters each day.
This past year (2020) I posted over 300 posts on the first year of reading and will continue to post, say, three times a week on the second year. You can see examples of those posts at my blog here.
Read more about the M'Cheyne schedule here. I would suggest signing up for TGC's Bible reading newsletter, as well, since we're basically covering the same passages. Their devotionals are very good.
No matter which reading schedule you decide on, why not invite others to join you and let's read together!
Warmly in Christ, Sandy
