Springtime in Alberta
From an older version of my brain, to yours.

Yep, it snowed again and temps are close to, or slightly below, freezing. But since I’m a prairie girl, I know from long experience that the snow will melt soon enough, and those tiny green buds will appear as if overnight. This, too, shall pass.
Lovelies, this is a short one this month because I’m currently in the middle of a tricky part of these book revisions. I don’t want to lose my focus!
But I do want to say, Hello! especially to the die-hards out there who tell me they read my Musings faithfully every month. I hate the thought of letting people down!
Thanks to everyone, die-hards and infrequent readers alike, for your kind words, and for keeping me honest, writing and sending this wee newsletter when I often would rather be writing or reading or watching fiction lol ♥️

Joyful Things
The Artemis II mission! I was a late follower, but luckily for me, I caught on the very day planned for the lunar flyby. On that day and til the splashdown, I would watch the live feed and/or catch up on highlights. Did you know that NASA posts all their public images, videos, and audio files on one website? 🤯
Well, here’s the link to all the relevant ones for Artemis II.
The actual splashdown was incredible. I live-skeeted a short thread on Bluesky while it happened.
I also watched the first half or so of the post-splashdown crew event.
It was moving, and inspiring, and so joyful! 💗
(I skipped some of the US government rah-rah stuff. sorrynotsorry)
Oh, there’s just one more thing...
✨ Please find at least one thing a day that brings you joy ✨
