Solstice Musings
From an older version of my brain, to yours.
Change is hard, y'all!
Friends, it's me, I promise. As I mentioned in November's sendout, I've switched platforms for my monthly newsletter and I'm learning the ropes. I'm also in the home stretch of drafting my latest book, so there's a lot goin' on up here in the ole brainpan these days. Lemme run through some stuff, though, while I'm here...
My family's tradition is to put up our Cmas tree the first weekend in December, while we partake in hot cocoa and cookies, and listen to alllll the holiday playlists. I personally also like to take part in Whamageddon, wherein one tries to make it as far as possible into December before they hear "Last Christmas" by Wham. This usually includes at malls, stores, on the radio, and streaming playlists. As you can see, I travelled to Whamhalla (ie.,heard the song) Dec. 3rd, while we put up the tree. It was brief, but oh how glorious!

I have one more public appearance this year and it's in 4 days!
Please come share in some crime reading fun and maybe pick up some new reads.
E.A. Aymar is an incredible host and I know we're going to have a helluva time! Registration is free, too: https://www.crowdcast.io/c/dcnoir2023
Solstice Wishes
As the longest night nears, I wish us all the space and opportunity to slow down, to stop, to take stock of our accomplishments, and to nurture our dreams.
Let's all ring out this year and welcome 2024 with love and warmth, joy and laughter.
Thanks for joining me on this journey.
