David Goldstein was in the heavenly court with the Almighty Himself presiding along with the angel who was assigned as his defense attorney and the angel assigned as the prosecuting attorney.

"David, have you ever done anything of merit in your life that you would like to share?" the Almighty asks.

"Well, I can think of one thing," David offers. "Once, on a trip to the gas station, I came upon a motorcycle gang -- a bunch of high-testosterone bikers who were threatening a young kid. I told them to leave him alone, but they wouldn't listen. So I approached the largest and most heavily tattooed biker. I smacked him on the head, kicked his bike over, ripped out his nose ring and threw it on the ground, and told him, 'Leave the kid alone now or you'll have to answer to me!'"

The defense attorney angel said. "Very impressive. When did this happen?"

"Just a couple minutes ago."
