The PCOSalon last Thursday was beautiful. Twelve countries represented at the bilingual discussion about all things polycystic ovaries!
While our communal share session won’t be public, the panelists’ presentations are up on the SLIM website.
Check out the evening’s spoken presentations (English and Spanish) and links to PCOS resources! 🍇
We’re waiting on a problem with caption sync that is preventing us from processing the video. Look for the video, which will be posted on the same page as above on the SLIM website, within November.
🎙🌟 In the meantime, enjoy the PCOSalon audio in English or Spanish while doing the dishes, driving, walking the dog, or cleaning up your Intersex Awareness Day festivities.
If you'd like to see more events happen, we welcome folks kicking in to help with translation and hosting costs.
Thank you again to all who came, donated, volunteered their talents, and spread the word.
Until next time,
~Hans and Saifa
P.S. We hope you’ve been enjoying everyone’s Intersex Awareness Day projects and resources this week on social media. Our colleagues at interACT released a new resource, a self-advocacy toolkit for intersex people preparing for medical appointments.
We’ll be making more time to read over all the new resources and art soon.

I'm in love with this interACT toolkit! As someone with nonbinary sex characteristic variation through gender-affirming care, and someone with loved ones born and identifying as intersex, this toolkit is incredibly helpful scaffolding - especially as someone who avoids doctors due to sexual medical trauma. Huge gratitude for its creation and sharing out!
