Roguelike Celebration 2026: GDC! Dates! More!

San Francisco meetup March 12, main conference October 17-18

Hello to all you wonderful rogues! We at the organizing team have started meeting semi-regularly for planning this year’s Roguelike Celebration and already have some news for you!

🌁 San Francisco Meetup 🌁

For anyone who will be attending GDC this year (or is otherwise in the greater Bay Area this week), Roguelike Celebration is hosting a relaxing roguelike social hour! We'll be meeting across the street from the convention center to talk roguelikes, procedural generation, and the coolest and craziest things you can do with an random number generator. We'll have coffee, tea, and some bagels to nosh on.

Come find us at in the northern corner of Yerba Buena Gardens on Thursday, March 12th, at 12:30 pm.

Feel free to invite your friends, and boost our social media posts about it! [ Bluesky | Mastodon ]

Bonus points for cosplaying as your favorite random number.

🗓️ Save The Date: October 17-18 🗓️

Our main conference this year will be October 17 - 18! We’re hoping to have the Call for Proposals up in late March or early April. More info on this, any possible Steam sale, preview event, and other goodies to come!

📹 2025 Event Info Coming Online! 📹

We now have most of the talks from 2025 posted as individual videos on our Youtube channel, with the last few to come online soon. We should also have the various informational links from the beloved obelisk available this week on our website. Thank you for your patience!

💝 Supporting The Conference 💝

We are still looking for sponsors to help keep the conference sustainable - to pay our live captioner, support our speakers with honoraria and AV equipment reimbursement, and cover our yearly art commission. We are fiscally sponsored by Independent Arts & Media, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and so all donations go directly towards keeping this conference running.

If you or your company is able to help us keep making our community’s amazing insights accessible to the world, please do reach out!

We look forward to seeing you, whether that’s this Thursday in the Gardens, in October, or any time in between!
