Here we go again...

I have some incredibly exciting news:

Two days ago I signed the contract for novel number 5!

My fifth novel, and second horror, will be published in late 2027. Exact dates to be confirmed, but keep a general reminder in your calendars please!

I’ll be revealing many more details before then, including the title, blurb, cover, pre-orders, all that jazz.

But for now, I simply wish you to be content in the knowledge my next novel is coming.

Whether you want it to or not…

Speaking of books, THE ONES WE FEAR is available for purchase now. Check out some of the incredible things readers have been saying about it:

White text on a yellow background which reads:

Praise for The Ones We Fear

"emotional, desperate, shocking and beautiful"

"I loved the eerie, ethereal and dream-like quality"

"an atmospheric, compelling read"

"the ending was brilliant"

"a witch story told amazingly"

"leaves you feeling unsettled long after the final page"

"I was hooked from the beginning"

"creepy and unpredictable"

"it really got under my skin"

"one of those quietly chilling reads that really creeps up on you"

What Else is New

I’ve decided to add a little section here to be (even more) self-indulgent. So what else is new with me?

  • I finally saw The Odyssey. It didn’t live up to all the hype but I still enjoyed it; it suffered from Nolan’s classic horrific sound mixing and ‘women are also in this film’ but the practical effects were amazing and Agamemnon was very, VERY cool

  • I have literally (and I mean literally as I type this message) hit 200 reviews on Fiverr! (and that’s with a rating of 5/5)

  • My wife and I finally tried out this highly rated Italian restaurant near us (Aldo’s in Green Gates FYI) and it was fine? Perfectly ok? But then I’m comparing their pizza to pizza I had in actual Sicily last year so they never stood a chance really

  • I go to Spain in 45 days and I cannot wait, although I’ve decided that week is when I finally read House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski so I may come back completely insane. Or not at all…

I’m going to shut up now because really, no one needs to hear this many words from me. At least in any form other than a novel.

If I can leave with you two thoughts, it’s these:

  1. book five is coming!

  2. please buy books 1-4 in the meantime!

Ciao!
