Oh yeah, I’m back baby, but this time I’m writing about someone else’s book.

Recently I had the pleasure of reading and reviewing Victor Manibo’s upcoming gothic horror novel The Villa, Once Beloved for Ancillary Review of Books.

Spoiler alert: I very much enjoyed it! It plays on some classic gothic horror tropes, but intersperses them with some awesome themes of identity, loss, and confronting the past.

I’m not gonna bang on in this email; read the review, trust me you’ll love it.

Then maybe buy the book, maybe don’t, that’s up to you.
