Why, yes. Yes I am still masking. Aren't you?

Hello, Readers All,

Right off the bat, a wee bit of administrative catching up. Some subscribers recently told me that they didn't realize they had the option of subscribing at a premium level where they could choose the amount they'd send monthly to support me in my addiction (writing) and I would send them extra goodies on the sly.

So wayyyyy down at the bottom of this email you'll find a modest little blue link that invites you to "Sign up for a premium subscription". Click that and name your amount. That way if you just happen to let your Medium subscription lapse, it happens, you'll still always get the latest writing from me and my partner and the deep satisfaction that comes from supporting living artists. Nothing like it.

Ask the current premium subscribers!

Ok, on to the fun stuff! (according to my twisted definition of fun, that is)

It's a little difficult to believe, but the simple, common-sense ways to survive a (once more rising) global pandemic seem to have become cultural landmines. I know better than to engage...usually. But other times my mouth seems to start operating without consulting my brain.

In this case, however, brain and mouth were in agreement. The guy's a pinhead.

I'm satisfied with what I said but can't help but wish one of my role models were alive. Dali could say it with so much more pizzazz!

And so do I…trust me

Because, however, I cannot rely on role models to live to be 120 or older so they can be here to show me the way, I had to take a drastic step. This is what it cost me in terms of cold, hard cash:

This piece wiggled its way out of being fiction but you're getting it anyway.

We can generally count on AleXander to provide fascinating new fiction, however, and again this week he comes through!

Who’s Asking?

And there we are! Another week and another batch of - what we immodestly consider - excellent new writing. In case you're wondering, we're both hard at it again deep into the night because, well, I slept nearly all day.

For those so inclined, the hat's by the door and any spare coinage is deeply appreciated.

I again am humbly appreciative of you who squander your limited minutes reading our work. We hope to make it well worth the squandering. And do feel compelled to spring unwanted attention and darkly held certainties to me at: Remington.Write@gmail.com

Until next Sunday night, thank you.
