Who can say?
Hello, Readers All,
My partner got his 3rd vaccine this past week and I - being so young and healthy - got the half-dose booster shot. Am I now feeling invincible? Ready to get-back-to-normal? Not exactly. True, date nights with Neil are indoors this year after freezing my keebies off last winter, but we're particular about where we go to eat indoors. And, yes, AleXander and I are going to a couple of indoor events at the end of the month.
But it's masks everywhere and as little public transportation as possible. The numbers aren't going in the right direction fast enough even though that gets remarkably little attention in the press.
Still, we did take the risk and checked out the new Kandinsky exhibition at the Guggenheim (masked), a museum I have ridden past on about fourteen thousand buses going down 5th Avenue.

I can't help myself, sometimes I just get serious. But probably not in this one. Much.

I'm ceding the serious spotlight to AleXander this week in memory of his Mother, Zena, who passed away on this date in 2007. This is so beautiful.

There we are, you intrepid and faithful Readers, you! True, the hat is by the door and all coinage is deeply appreciated even by a (part-time) working woman.
Quick question: has anyone besides one unlucky reader found that the "friend links" I use in these newsletters don't always work? Apparently, Medium's hotshot engineers are aware of this problem and are working real hard on it, but if you've clicked on one of the links here and got scolded that you've already read your maximum free articles for the month, let me know.
There's always a workaround.
Time to dust off your most worthy anecdotes or least interesting insults because you know where they go: Remington.write@gmail.com
Many heartfelt thanks for your eyes, attention, and always interesting brains!
Until next week,
