Wait? Summer's over? NO!
Hello, Readers All,
I suppose that technically summer won’t be over until the 21st and weather-wise we’re sitting pretty for another six to eight weeks before things get cold, wet, and dreary. But I’ve had to start closing some windows at night and wearing actual clothes indoors when I get up to write in the morning. Poor me.
So for anyone spending more than ten minutes looking at the writing on Medium, you’ll have noticed that Plans, Objectives, Tips, and Timeframes are big. Here’s my response:

With a Typewriter
No, no I don’t write about Plans, Objectives, Tips or Timeframes. Sometimes I write about closets.

Big Closets are Bad. Realtors will say that they’re a good… | by Remington Write | ILLUMINATION | Medium
Realtors will say that they’re a good thing. Don’t believe them.
I also write about stupid words I hate:

Say That With a Smile, Pilgrim. Fair Warning: These Words Send Me Into… | by Remington Write | Rogues’ Gallery | Medium
Fair Warning: These Words Send Me Into Paroxysms of Rage
Now, back to Our Hours, the daily fiction writing project my partner, AleXander, and I started on 1 September. 13 days later we’ve written 26 stories. Because the Oracles at Medium inflate read times, we find ourselves in the bizarre situation of actually seeing more people clapping for the stories than reading them. Take your time. They’re tasty and worth the time (see what I did there?).
My contribution this week is here:

Watch Your Step. These Streets Are Not Paved With Gold | by Remington Write | Medium

And AleXander’s is here:

And the link to each other’s story is at the bottom of each story.
In other news, Justin from Buttondown responded to my question about why the Ko-fi link always looks broken. He apologized and said it was a bug at his end that he’d fix. We’ll see, won’t we? And super major top of the heap thanks to those who braved a link that looked broken and sent me $3 via Ko-Fi. Will I in fact use it to buy cups of coffee? What do you think?
https://ko-fi.com/remingtonwriteThere it is. This week’s newsletter.
Thank you so much. Thank your for subscribing and for reading. I see that 20 of the 66 subscribers opened stories and read them last week. HUZZAAHHHH! This is me doing the Snoopy Happy Dance all around the living room and confusing the cat.
Wait! There’s MORE!
I started a blog and welcome subscribers to that venture as well. Oh hell, it’s free. Have at it! (Be sure to check your email after subscribing to finalize your subscription)
